Today’s conversation is about fertility, but not only in the narrow way we often speak about fertility.

We’re exploring fertility as body literacy, ancestral wisdom, womb sovereignty, lineage memory and the creative intelligence that lives inside the female body.

Chanana McGarry of Womb Literacy brings a powerful lens to this conversation through her work with natural fertility and her African lineage, and I’m especially excited to explore what happens when womb wisdom is remembered not as something new, but as something ancient, sacred and deeply needed in our modern world.

My guest Chanana is a certified Fertility Awareness Educator. After two unplanned pregnancies and over a decade of research, she teaches women to prevent pregnancy naturally with 99.6% effective, hormone and guesswork free contraception. As a direct descendant of the Mujaji Rain Queens of Southern Africa, she weaves together science with ancestral feminine wisdom, making her perspective unique in the natural birth control and holistic women’s health space.
